A native Michigander, with 50 years in the real estate industry, Sam is professional, yet laid back and not a "hard sell". With a BA from MSU in General Business/Real Estate, Sam began his career with Chamberlain Realtors in Birmingham, Mi. Here his 12-hour days and nights included coats and ties, and clean new vehicles washed daily. This extensive training prepared him to succeed in all  markets.

Still enjoying the business, Sam prides himself in matching the buyer with "just the right property". He knows the market from previewing and showing property and not just sitting behind a computer desk. He will help you select the best and feel the "aura" of the property. Sam's extensive clientele runs from executives like Lee Iacocca, athletes Joe Schmidt and Terry Barr, politicans, and several second generation clients.  Sam has personally represented approximately 1,400 buyers and sellers during his extensive career!! 

Today he proudly introduces Traverse City and the surrounding "up north" area to retirees and buyers from all over the United States. While some locals take this  environment for granted, Sam is appreciative of the warmth of the people and all that beautiful bountiful northern Michigan has to offer to all!
